Biography
Ariane Desroches-Touchain's research focuses on reforms to the French natural disaster insurance system. Using this case study, she examines the relationship between society and its environment, particularly in the context of climate change. Ariane is interested in negotiations over the distribution of the consequences of climate change, the categorization of environmental events, and the political response to environmental damage.
