After a master's degree in sociology from Sciences Po's School of Research, Anouk Bruant now pursuing her PhD at the Centre de Sociologie des Organisations (CSO). She is working on abortion care in France, under the supervision of Etienne Nouguez and Patrick Castel. Specifically, She is studying how abortion care is constructed, structured and implemented by professionals and organisations. She is also looking at how this structuring of care generates inequalities in access to abortion. She is drawing on approaches from the sociology of professions and organisations.
