Biography
Clément Bellanger's thesis focuses on the persistently low use of student loans in France. It is based on interviews, archives, and statistical data, and lies at the intersection of the sociology of domestic economics, markets, and public policy. Interested in the relationship between economic activity and the private sphere, his previous research has focused on the financing of education in wealthy families, as well as the trade in Pokémon cards in schoolyards. He is also particularly interested in the definition and conceptualization of morality in economic sociology.
