Lawrence (Lonnie) Berger serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Research in the Social Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he is also a distinguished professor of social policy. His main areas of expertise include the study of childhood and family policies, as well as the impact of economic and sociodemographic factors on family well-being. He is a past director of the university’s Institute for Research on Poverty.

Géraldine Farges, is a Professor of Educational Sciences at IREDU (Université de Bourgogne, Dijon). Research topics:  educational inequalities, social stratification, the teaching profession.

Post-doctoral project Im.magine - Mapping Immigrant Imaginations: Comparing North Africans in Montréal and Marseille - focuses on the spatial dynamics of immigrant identity formation.

Thèse soutenue à l'OSC en 2014. Il collabore avec les chercheurs du CRIS sur les questions d'inégalités ethniques et d'éducation en France, et sur les trajectoires socio-professionnelles des immigrés en France et en Grande-Bretagne.

Sonja Kosunen, Lecturer à l'Université d'Helsinki (Finlande), au département des sciences de l'éducation.

Elle a travaillé avec Agnès van Zanten sur la période de transition vers l'enseignement supérieur, dans un cadre comparatif ('Transitions and guidance devices in higher education in Europe'').

Haley McAvay, Lecturer, Université de York. 

Thèse soutenue en 2016 à l'OSC. Elle collabore avec Mirna Safi et Carlo Barone sur plusieurs projets. Elle participe aux travaux sur la mobilité sociale des descendants d'immigrés, les effets de la naturalisation des parents sur les trajectoires de leurs enfants ou les effets du statut des immigrés sur leurs trajectoires socio-économiques en France.  

Léa Pessin, Programme Director in Social Inequality and Assistant Professor of Sociology at The Department of Political and Social Sciences (The European University Institute). 

Her research combines demographic data and sociological perspectives to study social and gender inequalities at work and in the family results. Joint projects with Zachary Van Winkle revolving around the intersectional consequences of work and family life courses in comparative perspective. Synergies between their respective ERC starting grants (WeEqualize / Widow).

Marta Facchini  is a postdoctoral researcher at the INVEST Research Flagship Centre, University of Turku (Finland).
