RC28 Online Meeting on Educational Inequalities

The Research Committee 28 on Social Stratification and Mobility (RC28) of the International Sociological Association (ISA) convenes scholars working in the field of educational inequalities to contribute to RC28’s first online thematic meeting (via Zoom). This online meeting is free of charge and features submissions from various world regions.

The meeting will take place on 20-21 January 2026 and will be hosted virtually by the Centre for Research on social InequalitieS (CRIS), a Sciences Po/CNRS unit, in Paris.

This thematic meeting will focus broadly on educational inequalities, featuring theory-driven, quantitative or qualitative papers related to this theme.

The online meeting will follow the usual format of RC28 meetings with parallel oral presentation sessions and keynote talks by Marissa Thompson and Thijs Bol.
