Marie d'Arcimoles

Curriculum 

Marie d’Arcimoles serves as General Secretary of the Centre for Socio-Political Data (CDSP – UMS 828). In this role, she works alongside the management team and in close coordination with the administrative assistant to oversee and coordinate all administrative and financial activities of the centre. She ensures the centre’s smooth organizational and operational functioning and supports its ongoing development.

She also acts as Administrative and Financial Manager for the scientific projects led within the CDSP, most notably for the DIME-SHS Equipex project, funded under the French Investments for the Future Programme (2011–2019).

Marie d’Arcimoles holds a PhD in Sociology (Sciences Po, 2008), completed at the Centre for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO). Since 2005, she has oriented her career toward research administration. That year, she joined the LATTS laboratory (Techniques, Territories and Societies), where she served as General Secretary for nearly ten years before joining Sciences Po in May 2015.

Main activities 

  • Budget and financial management and coordination (annual allocations from FNSP and CNRS, and own resources): preparation and monitoring of budget execution; oversight of expenditure commitments; implementation of tracking and forecasting tools; production of financial reports; support to operational teams for contract execution and financial reporting.
  • Coordination of administrative, legal, and logistical activities: monitoring changes in regulatory procedures from supervisory bodies; development and implementation of internal tools and procedures; staff communication and information; provision of necessary material resources for team activities; follow-up on decisions.
  • Human resources management: support for recruitment processes and individual career tracking; definition and monitoring of the training plan.
  • Contribution to the deployment of strategic actions and organizational development projects of the centre; assistance and advice to the management team; representation of the unit to supervisory bodies and partners.
  • Support and follow-up in the preparation process of reports and summary documents produced by the unit (activity reports, evaluation reports, reporting notes to Sciences Po and CNRS, etc.).
  • Coordination of communication and outreach activities related to the CDSP’s work.
