Three Programmes to Support the Career Integration of Recent Graduates

Sciences Po Careers offers three mentoring programmes designed to help recent graduates in their transition to professional life. Each initiative addresses specific needs and draws on the commitment of alumni and professionals.

“Research shows that mentoring programmes, whether in the form of entrepreneurial support, academic guidance, or inspiring role models, significantly enhance career entry, economic success, and professional advancement for participants.”

Women & Society Mentoring Programme

In partnership with Femmes & Société from the Sciences Po Alumni group, this five‑month programme is designed to address gender inequalities in the workplace. It aims to support young women in their career integration and promote equality from the very start of their professional journey.

The programme brings together 50 recent graduates and 50 professionals, with the objective of helping mentees:

  • Better understand opportunities and dynamics in the job market, particularly in their target field
  • Strengthen their professional network
  • Conduct an effective job search

Priority Education Conventions (CEP) Mentoring Programme

This programme is intended for graduates who benefited from the “Priority Education Conventions” (CEP). It provides personalised support to facilitate access to a first job and reduce the disparities in career integration observed compared with other graduates(1)

The initiative is based on pairing recent graduates with alumni, with the aim of helping mentees:

  • Structure their career plan
  • Gain knowledge of professions and sectors
  • Identify opportunities
  • Prepare their job search

Launch: January 2026.

Speed Mentoring for International and English‑Speaking Graduates

Created for international and English‑speaking graduates, this mentoring programme is designed to facilitate access to employment in France for non‑European and non‑French‑speaking students.

Its objective is to provide privileged opportunities to exchange with alumni, in order to better understand sector expectations and strategies for entering different fields such as: international organisations, consulting, research, communications, marketing, NGOs, ecological transition, finance, and more.

The format is designed to be dynamic and time-efficient:

  • A short introductory segment where alumnis would briefly present their background and sector
  • Followed by a speed-mentoring session in small groups, allowing graduates to ask questions about sector expectations, recruitment practices, career paths and strategies for entering their chosen field
