The Kuwait Program at Sciences Po (KSP) develops a range of initiatives for students and faculty. It supports students through an ambitious program of scholarships and of awards, and also develops an academic network organized around a full-time professorship position, a visiting faculty program and a seed fund program for joint research projects.
KSP Student Paper Award – Spring 2017
The KSP Student Paper Award distinguishes outstanding student papers written on a topic related to the study of the Arab World and the Gulf Region.

In 2012, the Kuwait Program at Sciences Po launched a successful initiative, the “KSP Excellence Scholarship Program” to support outstanding students admitted to Sciences Po and enrolled at the master level. Multiple scholarships have been awarded to the best candidates on a competitive basis. Students have been granted scholarships in the three following categories:
> KSP Excellence Scholarship for the Study of the Arab World and Gulf Region: was open to candidates of all nationalities and dedicated to students admitted at PSIA who have chosen to focus on the study of the Arab World and Gulf Region.
> KSP Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students: was open to nationals from Arab countries and dedicated to students admitted at PSIA in any master program.
> KSP Excellence Scholarship for Least Developed Countries: was open to nationals from Least Developed Countries and dedicated to students admitted at Sciences Po in any master program.

KSP Mobility Grant – 2017
The Kuwait Program offered mobility grants to Sciences Po students enrolled on eligible programs, at undergraduate and Master level, who planned to study, complete internships or do field research in the region. Mobility grants have been awarded to students of the Undergraduate College and graduate schools of Sciences Po.
The KSP Fund for Innovative Projects supported extra-curricular student-led initiatives taking place in countries of the Arab World and the Gulf Region. It was aimed at fostering innovation and providing funding for the realization of creative ideas benefiting the region in all sectors.
Selected projects were led by undergraduate and Master students at Sciences Po, as well as alumni who have graduated with a Master's degree from Sciences Po in the last year.

KSP Joint Research Projects – 2017-2018
Joint research projects are funded by the Kuwait Program at Sciences Po to foster scientific links between faculty members at Sciences Po and in Kuwait, building a unique research network. Research projects, which may take different forms, may be presented jointly by a faculty member from a university in Kuwait and a faculty member from Sciences Po. Selected projects may receive up to 50,000 Euros in research funding.
Faculty members who wish to enter into a research collaboration may submit an individual expression of interest before October 31, 2016. They will benefit from a one-week exploratory visit at the partner institution. Joint teams may then submit a joint research project application before March 31, 2017.

The KSP Visiting Faculty program offers one-semester teaching opportunities at the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po for leading specialists of the Arab World and the Gulf Region.
