Previous events and news

Through series of lectures by highly distinguished guests on pressing global issues, PSIA offers a vibrant platform for public debate in international affairs. As an extension of this platform for public debate, commentaries by faculty, alumni and students of the Paris School of International Affairs are often solicited by the international media. Additionally, PSIA has embarked upon a partnership with France 24, a leading international news network.   • Kuwait Program Visiting Professor Robert Springborg, who teaches the course ‘The Middle East in the Global Economy’ at PSIA, has recently published a piece
  • Fabrice Bardet, visiting professor at PSIA and who teaches the class "Le Gouvernement des nombres" has published a book entitled "La contre-révolution comptable. Ces chiffres qui (nous) gouvernent" (éditions Les Belles Lettres). Please see here for more details.

    A lecture with General Stéphane Abrial, Secretary General of Safran Group and Former head of the allied command transformation of NATO and of the French Air forces.
  • Olivier de Schutter, former UN special rapporteur on the right to food (2008-2014), has been appointed as part-time Professor at Sciences Po. Professor de Schutter has taught his course "Global Hunger" at PSIA for the past 3 years, and will continue to teach both this course and a new course "Global Governance: Overcoming Fragmentation" from Spring 2014 onwards.
  • Dominique Kerouedan, Scientific Advisor of PSIA's concentration in Global Health and who teaches the course "Strategies, policy-making and governance in Global Health" has recently published an article on diploweb.com on the perspectives for France's development program from 2015-2030, with a specific focus on Africa.
