Through series of lectures by highly distinguished guests on pressing global issues, PSIA offers a vibrant platform for public debate in international affairs. As an extension of this platform for public debate, commentaries by faculty, alumni and students of the Paris School of International Affairs are often solicited by the international media. Additionally, PSIA has embarked upon a partnership with France 24, a leading international news network. PSIA Faculty memberJean-Philippe Dedieu just published a new article in The New York Times on Japanese migrants in Brazil. A former Fulbright scholar at University of California - Berkeley (UCB), Jean-Philippe Dedieu, who teaches Applied Ethnography at PSIA,  holds a MBA from the ESSEC Business School and a PhD in sociology from the Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS).

Barak Gatenyo of Sciences Po's International Security Program has been selected as a Rosenthal Fellow for 2014. Barak is a recipient of Sciences Po-U.S. Foundation scholarship. Prior to attending PSIA, he served at IDF as a head of an intelligence research team and worked as an intelligence analyst at the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Barak graduated with honors from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Israel, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Barak will intern at the U.S.

Ten PSIA students were invited to participate as delegates to the Doha Forum.  Beginning with the official opening ceremony in the presence of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who presided over the ceremony, the students also had the opportunity to meet with a multitude of diplomatic, parliamentary and other business leaders.
