The place(s) I call home

Oslo, Norway

Prior to PSIA I was

After graduating from my bachelor programme, I spent six months in Bangladesh, working as an intern at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as well as working six months as an intern with Amnesty International Norway in Oslo. Especially my experiences in Bangladesh formed my interests of the interlinkages of environment, poverty and human rights.

My life at PSIA

I chose my program because I have always been concerned with human rights and more vulnerable population groups. I was drawn to the PSIA program because of its more practical approach, with teachers having direct experience from the field.

The best thing about PSIA is how everybody - both teachers and students - are deeply engaged in their subjects and happily share from their knowledge and experiences. This motivated me to continue working.

My objectives

I’m intrigued by the linkages between social and political structures, environment, and vulnerability. I also feel a strong commitment to the principles of human rights, as well as gender equality.
