Master’s in Law

Master’s proposed and coordinated by the Sciences Po Law school

Economic law

The teaching in the Master’s in Economic Law is structured in a progressive manner to enable the student, even without any particular previous knowledge of the law, to progressively master the techniques and modes of reasoning required, taking general concepts as a starting point and moving, from one term to the next, toward laws and bodies of rules that are more and more specialised and concrete. Thus, the teaching aims to simultaneously enable students to understand the basic fundamentals of the law and to grasp the theoretical issues while at the same time supplying students with very real case studies through which the art of practising law takes shape. Indeed, to master the law, one must have this fundamental understanding and this particular skill.
