Benjamin Bruce holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Sciences Po Paris. His dissertation, entitled "Governing Islam Abroad: The Turkish and Moroccan Muslim Fields in France and Germany" analyzes interstate cooperation in the governance of Muslim religious affairs and its consequences for Islamic groups in France and Germany. Prior to the Ph.D., Benjamin completed a Research Master's Degree at Sciences Po Paris and a B.A. in East Asian Studies and Linguistics at McGill University. His research interests broadly cover religion, foreign policy, and transnational migration. He is currently CONACYT Research Fellow at El Colegio de la Frontera Norte.
