Francesco Findeisen

Francesco Findeisen is an associate researcher at Sciences Po Paris 'Center for Comparative Politics and European Studies (CEE). He was a postdoc for the project "What is Governed in Cities: Residential Investment Landscapes and the Governance and Regulation of Housing Production"; directed by Patrick Le Galès. He taught courses on including mobility and climate policy and politics at the Urban School.

His current research project compares how nation-states make and shape markets for climate investments and the politics of their implementation. His research interests include state reconfigurations, the transformation of capitalism, comparative climate politics and policy, policy implementation, and territorial inequality.

Francesco holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Sciences Po Paris, an MSc in economic sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in social sciences from Humboldt University Berlin. He was a visiting fellow at University College London's Bartlett School of Planning, New York University's Institute for Public Knowledge, and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne.
