Two-year master's programmes at Sciences Po (international graduate procedure): deadlines
Submit a complete application form
Do not wait until the last day to submit your application.
To be assessed, your application must be complete and submitted before:
- the deadline for the programme you are applying for (11.59pm, Paris time) ; or
- the earliest deadline, if you apply for two programmes with different deadlines (11.59pm, Paris time) ; or
- the deadline for the scholarship you are applying for (11.59pm, Paris time) regardless of the deadline of the requested programme(s).
Please note:
- As our platform does not automatically invalidate incomplete files, it is your responsibility to submit an application that includes all required documents (including references and proof of language proficiency). Incomplete applications will not be assessed. You will be able to apply again during the next application cycle.
- Once you have submitted your application, no new document or element will be accepted, unless requested by the Admissions office.
Deadlines
The online applications for the 2027 intake will open at the end of September 2026.
Closing date (except for dual degrees, Master in Joint journalism and International affairs and Master in journalism): 21 February 2027 (11.59pm, Paris time).
A specific deadline applies for some masters of the Journalism school (Master in Joint journalism and International affairs and Master in journalism): to be confirmed (11.59pm, Paris time).
Admission decisions
For all two-year master's programmes (except masters of the Journalism school) the admission decisions are released depending on the date your complete application file (references and language proofs included) was received:
Should you finalize, complete and send your application before :
- 18 October 2026, you will receive our decision before 17 December 2026
- 29 November 2026, you will receive our decision before 8 February 2027
- 3 January 2027, you will receive our decision before 1 April 2027
- 31 January 2027, you will receive our decision before 6 May 2027
- 21 February 2027, you will receive our decision before 3 June 2027
For the Joint Master in journalism and international affairs and Master in journalism, decisions will be released by : to be confirmed.
Please note: all deadlines always refer to Paris time (11.59pm).
Each dual degree programme has its own specific application validation deadline. Check the deadlines and the specific prerequisites by programme.
Please note:
- If you are applying to both a dual degree and a two-year master's programme, you must consider the earliest deadline as your overall application deadline.
- If you are applying for a Boutmy or Mastercard scholarship for your two-year master's programme at Sciences Po, you must submit your application before the deadline of the scholarship, regardless of the selected programmes.
Candidates are notified as to the outcome of their application two to three months after the application deadline of the selected dual degree programme.

Please note: When applying for a scholarship, your full application form must include all requested documents by the scholarship deadline.
Useful tips
- Do not wait until the very last day to submit your application. Admission decisions are announced on a rolling basis, so the earlier you submit your application, the sooner you will be notified of Sciences Po's decision (except for dual degrees and for the Masters of the Journalism school : joint Master of Journalism and International Affairs and Master in journalism.)
- Anticipate: Before you start your application, make sure to gather all the information required, for example: request official documents, choose and contact your referees, take your language tests and check your visa status.
