Oskar Steiner, PhD candidate at the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) and current co-organiser of Cities are Back in Town, recently published an article in the journal Cities titled “City digital twins and the urban laboratory: The practice and politics of ‘sandbox urbanism'”. Laure Guimbail, PhD candidate at the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO), recently published an article in the journal Urban Studies titled “Navigating frictions in digital urbanism: Google Maps, public transportation and collaborative data-driven mobility governance” The article is based on research supported by the Digital Cities Chair of the Sciences Po urban School.

Francesca Ferlicca, post-doctoral researcher at the Urban School, recently published a review of Manisha Anantharaman’s book “Recycling Class: The Contradictions of Inclusion in Urban Sustainability” in the journal Urban Studies. Dr. Anantharaman is equally a member of the Cities are Back in Town research group, affiliated with the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO). Access Francesca’s review here.
