Biographie

Directrice de l’axe “Evaluation de la démocratie” du LIEPP, Julia Cagé est Professeure associée en économie au sein du Département d’économie à Sciences Po. Elle est aussi chercheure affiliée au Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR).

Ses domaines de recherche sont l’économie politique, l’économie des organisations et l’histoire économique. Elle porte un intérêt particulier à l’économie des médias. Elle est l’auteur de Sauver les médias. Capitalisme, financement participatif et démocratie paru en 2015 et L’information à tout prix paru en 2017. Ses recherches sont publiées dans des revues scientifiques de renommé internationale telles que European Economic Review, American Economic Journal, Applied Economics, Journal of International Economics, and Journal of Globalization and Development.

Après un parcours universitaire à l’ENS et à Paris School of Economics, Julia Cagé obtient son doctorat à l’Université d’Harvard en 2014.
