LIEPP is inviting applications for up to four positions (40 hours each) of “vacataire de recherche” / research assistant to support the preparation of publications of the InclusiveParl project on the political representation of historically marginalized groups in four European countries: France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. We are looking for candidates with country-specific training and expertise specific to these four countries. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in political science and/or sociology, or be in the final year of such a degree, and have strong quantitative training skills (in R or Stata). The work needs to be undertaken in November-December 2025. It will be paid 14€/hour.

Each of the positions requires prior undergraduate-level training in French / Italian / Spanish / British politics (respectively) and native skills in French / Italian / Spanish / English. 

The research assistants will support Prof Morales in the completion of publications on the four cases, which will entail tasks such as: 

- Data cleaning and processing of biographical data on national parliamentarians; 

- Contributing to the summary and visualization of quantitative data.

Applications should include: 

- a CV with a clear indication of the British/French/Italian/Spanish politics courses taken at undergraduate (or postgraduate) level; 

- a letter of motivation indicating how the candidate fits the desired profile and their prior experience with quantitative data cleaning, processing and analysis in R or Stata.
