The Atelier Interdisciplinaire de Recherches sur l’Environnement (AIRE) invites early-career researchers, specifically PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from all disciplines and research centers, to present their work during a special seminar on January 20, 2025 on the afternoon (exact times to be confirmed). This session, fully dedicated to environmentally-focused research at Sciences Po, marks the third edition of the AIRE Early Career Research Seminar.

This event encompass both doctoral and postdoctoral research, showcasing the wide range of environmental work conducted at Sciences Po.

Both PhD candidates - whether they’re in initial phases or nearing completion of their work - and Postdoctoral researchers are warmly encouraged to present their work, engage in constructive discussions, and gain insights into the dynamic environmental research landscape within the AIRE community.

Participation Guidelines

Interested PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers are invited to apply by the deadline of December 12, 2026, by emailing aire@sciencespo.fr (cc Manisha Anantharaman). Please include the (provisional) title of your thesis or postdoctoral project in your application. Presentation format and duration will be determined based on the number of applications received.

Presentations may be given in either French or English and will be followed by a Q&A session with members of the AIRE community.

This seminar, part of AIRE’s commitment to early-career researchers, fosters a supportive and constructive environment, welcoming contributions from researchers at all stages. We especially encourage those with preliminary findings to participate, as this event provides a space to exchange ideas and strengthen connections within Sciences Po’s environmental research network.
