Biographie
Petra est titulaire d'un doctorat en études urbaines de Sciences Po Paris (2026). Sa thèse analyse l'histoire institutionnelle du régime foncier libanais et le rôle du sol, notamment des domaines publics, dans le renforcement du pouvoir des élites politiques. Elle est architecte-urbaniste et a exercé au Liban de 2012 à 2020. Ses travaux portent sur l'espace public, le logement, le foncier et la propriété, la mobilité, le changement climatique et les migrations, en particulier dans le monde arabe. Elle a publié dans le Journal of Transport Geography, Planning Perspectives et la Revue Mondes arabes, ainsi que des textes non académiques avec Jadaliyya, As-Safir, Legal Agenda, le PNUD, ONU-Habitat/GLTN et l'Institut Issam Fares pour les politiques publiques et les affaires internationales.
