Biographie

Sandrine Perrot, politiste, est chargée de recherche à la Fondation nationale des Sciences politiques. Elle est docteur en sciences politiques de l'ancien Centre d’études d’Afrique noire (CEAN) de Sciences Po Bordeaux en 2003 (aujourd'hui Les Afriques dans le monde - LAM). Elle a été chercheure post-doctorale pendant deux ans au Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal (CERIUM) avant de rejoindre le CERI en octobre 2007. Elle est également chercheure associée au l'Institut des mondes africains (Imaf).

Elle a été membre des comités de rédaction de Politique africaine et Critique internationale. Elle est aujourd'hui directrice de publication de la revue Politique africaine et Présidente de l'Association des chercheur(e)s de Politique africaine (ACPA) depuis octobre 2019.
Ses recherches portent sur la sociologie des groupes armés et des phénomènes de violence en Afrique sub-saharienne et plus précisément en Ouganda (Lord's Resistance Army, milices); mais aussi sur la sociologie du vote et la vie sociale des papiers d'identité. 

Elle est membre de l’ANR PIAF (« La vie sociale des papiers d’identité en Afrique ») (2016-2020). Au CERI, elle co-pilote l'axe "Participations politiques et mobilisations" et elle coanime le séminaire "Afrique : citoyenneté, violence et politique".
