2015 – New researchers join ResponsiveGov team

Two new researchers are joining the ResponsiveGov team in September 2015. Oriol Sabaté Domingo is currently completing his PhD in Economic History at the University of Barcelona. His main research interests are economic development and defense economics. Francesco Visconti is currently completing his PhD in Comparative and European Politics at CIRCaP in Siena. His research focuses mainly on the relationship between political institutions and policy change in a comparative perspective. Francesco is also a member of the Italian Policy Agendas research group and a Research collaborator for the Italian Law Making Archive.

Oriol and Francesco join the team after long-term ResponsiveGov project members Maarja Lühiste and Daniel Bischof moved on to permanent academic positions this fall. Former ResponsiveGov Postdoctoral Research Associate Maarja Lühiste has accepted a lectureship in Politics at the University of Newcastle. Former ResponsiveGov PhD Researcher Daniel Bischof has joined the University of Zurich as a Senior Researcher (Oberassistent) in Comparative Politics.
