The CSES is an independent body of experts that advises the Direction générale de l'enseignement scolaire (DGESCO) of the French Ministry of Education. The CSES provides expertise and scientific support to the Ministry of Education for the latter's programmes and projects. Elise HUILLERY 's research is mainly focused on development economics, economics of education and economic history. Over the past few years she has conducted a number of field experiments in health, education and micro-entrepreuneurship and has authored three major policy reports related to school education and youth programmes in France which made her an obvious choice for the CSES. More about Elise HUILLERY and her research Joan MONRAS, joint with Ferran ELIAS MORENO, awarded the Upjohn Institute Early Career Research Award (ECRA)Joan MONRAS and co-author Ferran ELIAS MORENO were awarded an Upjohn Institute Early Career Research Award for their paper: Every year the Upjohn Institute invites proposals for Early Career Research Awards (ECRA). These awards are intended to provide resources for junior faculty to carry out policy-related research on labor market issues. The Institute encourages research proposals on all issues related to labor markets and public workforce policy.
