Bernard Salanié, est professeur au département d’économie de l'Université de Columbia. Chiara Saraceno was Professor of Sociology at the University of Turin until 2006, when she was appointed Research Professor at the Wissenshaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung for five years. She now lives in Turin, where she is honorary fellow at the Collegio Carlo Alberto. Her research topics concern comparative family, gender and intergenerational arrangements, comparative social policies, social inequalities and poverty.

Bruno Dente is professor of Public Policy Analysis at Politecnico di Milano where he sits on the board of directors. He was also the founding chairman of the Centre for Public Administration and Public Policies of Politecnico and has been a research director in Public Policy Analysis at IRS (Istituto per la ricerca sociale), Milan.

Mark Stabile is Founding Director of the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto and Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Rotman School of Management. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, Cambridge Massachusetts and a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Rafael Lalive is professor of economics at University of Lausanne. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics at University of Zurich in July 2001.

His research interests include social interactions in labor market outcomes, the effects of unemployment insurance on unemployment duration, and compensating wage differentials. Among others, he has published in journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of the European Economic Association.
