Natacha Estèves is preparing a Ph.D. on Open Source and Patents under the supervision of professors Michel Vivant and Mikhail Xifaras.
After graduating from the University of Toulouse Capitole, she completed a Master of Research in International Economic Governance jointly organised by Columbia Law School, the University of Paris 1 and Sciences Po.
She wrote her final Master thesis under the supervision of Professor Michel Vivant (Restoration and Retroactivity of Copyrights: Half Hearted Innovation and Creation).
She completed her third year of law school at the University of Ankara in Turkey.
In 2013, she was a seminar lecturer in Public International Law at the Collège Universitaire of Reims. From January 2014 to April 2014, she was Teaching Assistant to Professor Michel Vivant for his class Intellectual Property: The Inescapable Globalization?
She is currently a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb in Munich, Germany.
