Sean is a first year PhD candidate in the Politics and International Studies department at The University of Warwick. His PhD research involves a comparative study of the UK Labour Party and Frances Parti Socialiste. The project seeks to better understand the parties positions within the post-global financial crisis environment, and in particular is interested in the role of political and economic ideas in shaping the political economy of social democracy.
