Visiting Assistant Professor
Mehmet Demircioglu is Assistant Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He is also a research fellow at the Institute of Development Strategies at Indiana University-Bloomington and the Center for Organizational Research and Design (CORD) at Arizona State University. His research focuses on the link between innovative activities (including social media), management reforms, and employee attitudes in the public sector. His recent articles have appeared in the journals Research Policy, Journal of Technology Transfer, Public Performance & Management Review, and International Journal of Public Administration.

Visiting projects and objectives
First, the link Between Public Management Reforms and Public Sector Innovation: The European Perspective. In this project, Mehmet Akif Demircioglu aims to understand how two different subfields of public management reforms and public sector reforms interact and can learn from each other. Second, he has a book project on public management reforms. In the latter project, he aims to learn what potential ‘big questions’ (e.g. something was important 40 years ago, is important now, and will be important in the future) in the study of public management reforms.
