Sciences Po opens its doors to secondary school students from around the world as part of the Summer School’s Pre-College Programme. This programme is an opportunity to discover Sciences Po and experience college life and academics at one of France’s leading universities.
The Pre-College Programme is open to students currently enrolled in secondary school and who will still be in secondary school in Fall 2021. Applicants must be at least 15 years old at the time of the programme. Learn more.
The Pre-College Programme gives high school students a taste of academics at Sciences Po through rigorous coursework in the social sciences. Students have core courses in the social sciences, including Master Classes and tutorials taught in English, and an elective course of their choice, in one of Sciences Po’s disciplines, taught in English or French. In addition to weekday classes, cultural activities and excursions are organised on the weekend. Learn more.
DateS and locationS
In 2021, the Pre-College Programme features two separate sessions of two weeks each. For each session, the first week of the programme takes place on Sciences Po's Reims campus, while the final week is held on the Paris campus. Accommodation is provided near campus in both cities. Learn more.
Students are welcome to participate in one or both sessions. Students who attend two sessions will be able to take different classes during each session. Participants who choose to attend both sessions, however, will need to make arrangements for the week between the first and second sessions – the Summer School is not responsible for students during the break.
