The Summer School is now accepting applications for Summer 2017!

The application is now open for both the University Programme and Pre-College Programme.

Apply now via Sciences Po’s online application system.

University Programme

  • Eligibility: High school students in their final year of secondary studies, university students and graduates.  Learn more about eligibility requirements.
  • Programme Dates: Two four-week sessions: 3-30 June 2017 & 1-28 July 2017.
  • Application Deadlines: Mid-April for the June session and mid-May for the July session.
  • How to Apply: Online application instructions.

Held on the Paris campus in the heart of the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighbourhood, the University Programme proposes two academic tracks in social sciences and French language.  Students choose a core class from one track; both tracks are offered during each session.

  • Students in the social sciences track delve into one of Sciences Po’s core disciplines, with courses in international relations, political science, economics, and more.  Courses are taught by Sciences Po professors in both English and French.
  • Students in the French language track are placed at one of six levels of French, from complete beginner to advanced. At all levels, students take a variety of courses to reinforce language learning while benefiting from French language immersion in Paris.

Pre-College Programme

This summer, Sciences Po will open the doors of its Reims campus to secondary school students as part of the Summer School’s Pre-College Programme. The Pre-College Programme exposes students to college life and academics at Sciences Po. Through challenging coursework combining social sciences and foreign language study, students will get a taste of the Sciences Po experience.  Outside the classroom, students will participate in organised cultural activities and study trips to reinforce learning and discover French history and culture.
