In order to prepare your application, learn more about the Summer School's two academic tracks to decide what you'd like to study this summer.
- A social sciences track, where students will select a class in one of Sciences Po's core disciplines, such as political science, international relations, or economics, for intensive study over the course of 48 contact hours. Classes are led by Sciences Po professors in either English or French. Students in this track also have the option to add on additional course hours of French history or French language courses. See the list of 2016 social sciences courses.
- A French language track, where participants are placed at one of six levels adapted to their knowledge of the language. Over the course of 70 contact hours, students take a variety of courses intended to improve their understanding and knowledge of French, practice oral and written expression, and delve into topics related to the social sciences and French culture through Sciences Po lecture classes.
