Ce prix, lanc\u00e9 en 2023 pour la premi\u00e8re fois, a pour but de r\u00e9compenser les efforts exceptionnels de jeunes chercheuses et chercheurs au niveau Master et Doctorat \u00e0 travers toutes les \u00e9coles et d\u00e9partements de Sciences Po, et accro\u00eet la visibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une recherche rigoureuse et innovante sur les questions li\u00e9es aux migrations internationales et\/ou \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 ethno-culturelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MiDi a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2020 en tant qu&rsquo;initiative collective interdisciplinaire dans le but de renforcer les interactions entre les chercheuses et chercheurs des diff\u00e9rents centres de recherche de Sciences Po autour des questions de migration internationale et de diversit\u00e9 ethno-culturelle. Il met en lien les scientifiques du Centre de recherches internationales (CERI), du Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes europ\u00e9ennes et de politique compar\u00e9e (CEE), du Centre de recherche sur les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales (CRIS), de l&rsquo;\u00c9cole de droit, du D\u00e9partement d&rsquo;histoire, du D\u00e9partement d&rsquo;\u00e9conomie, du Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po (CEVIPOF) et du Laboratoire interdisciplinaire d\u2019\u00e9valuation des politiques publiques (LIEPP). La recherche produite \u00e0 Sciences Po sur ces questions couvre des th\u00e8mes tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s, tels que les flux migratoires, le droit d&rsquo;asile, les fronti\u00e8res, l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration des migrants, la discrimination et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s dans les contextes europ\u00e9en et mondial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le jury, compos\u00e9 de <strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne LE BAIL <\/strong>(Sciences Po, CERI), <strong>Virginie GUIRAUDON <\/strong>(Sciences Po, CEE), <strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne THIOLLET<\/strong> (Sciences Po, CERI), <strong>Christophe POULY <\/strong>(Sciences Po, \u00c9cole de droit), et <strong>Mohamed ELSAYEH <\/strong>(Sciences Po, \u00c9cole de droit), f\u00e9licite des excellentes candidatures et de leur nombre. Retour sur la grammaire des attitudes adopt\u00e9e par des personnes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es dans le cadre d&rsquo;entretiens biographiques<\/em>. Cet article, paru dans le Bulletin de m\u00e9thodologie sociologique, est un article de m\u00e9thode et de r\u00e9flexivit\u00e9 qui aborde, entre autres, la question du positionnement quand on est en contrat de Convention industrielle de formation par la recherche (CIFRE), la question du rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;enqu\u00eat\u00e9 quand on repr\u00e9sente de mani\u00e8re ambigu\u00eb l&rsquo;institution, mais am\u00e8ne aussi \u00e0 parler du rapport des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s aux institutions et \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;accueil. Le jury a trouv\u00e9 l\u2019article tr\u00e8s stimulant et susceptible d\u2019int\u00e9resser aussi bien les universitaires que les praticiens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes de Sciences politiques sur le monde arabe (DEA en 2003), Soazig Dollet a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019instruction des dossiers de demande d\u2019asile \u00e0 l\u2019OFPRA \u00e0 Paris, avant de rejoindre le Comit\u00e9 international de la Croix Rouge et ses missions sur le terrain. En 2009, elle devient responsable du bureau Moyen-Orient &amp; Afrique du Nord de Reporters sans fronti\u00e8res, organisation qu\u2019elle quitte fin 2014. Devenue consultante, elle r\u00e9alise des \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019acc\u00e8s des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s syriens \u00e0 une information de service en Turquie et au Liban.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>En septembre 2019, elle int\u00e8gre le Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes europ\u00e9ennes et de politique compar\u00e9e de Sciences Po Paris, en tant que doctorante. Sous la direction de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/centre-etudes-europeennes\/fr\/chercheur\/virginie-guiraudon.html\">Virginie Guiraudon<\/a>, elle travaille depuis \u00e0 saisir le v\u00e9cu \u2013 par les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de la protection internationale \u2013 des dispositifs d\u2019accueil et d\u2019int\u00e9gration qui les ciblent. Ce m\u00e9moire sur la politique d\u2019\u00e9viction \u00e0 Calais, France est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une \u00e9criture int\u00e9ressante de dialogue continu entre les observations de terrain, la documentation de type \u00ab&nbsp;actualit\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb et les travaux de chercheurs. Le jury a \u00e9galement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la m\u00e9thodologie utilis\u00e9e et la rigueur du style d&rsquo;\u00e9criture.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>No\u00e9mie Cassiau a obtenu une licence de sciences politiques \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9cole europ\u00e9enne des sciences politiques et sociales (ESPOL), avant de s&rsquo;inscrire au master Droits de l&rsquo;homme et action humanitaire de l&rsquo;\u00c9cole des affaires internationales (PSIA) de Sciences Po. Entre ses deux ann\u00e9es de master, elle a pris une ann\u00e9e de c\u00e9sure, dont la moiti\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;accompagnement juridique des victimes de racisme et de discrimination raciale au sein de l&rsquo;association SOS Racisme. No\u00e9mie Cassiau a pass\u00e9 les six mois restants \u00e0 Calais et \u00e0 Dunkerque, en tant que b\u00e9n\u00e9vole aupr\u00e8s des observateurs des droits de l&rsquo;homme, pour effectuer son travail de terrain dans le cadre de sa th\u00e8se de master intitul\u00e9e \u00ab&nbsp;Everyday border near the territorial France-United Kingdom borderline&nbsp;\u00bb. Maintenant dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e, elle est retourn\u00e9e \u00e0 Calais, o\u00f9 elle travaille avec les observateurs des droits de l&rsquo;homme en tant que responsable de l&rsquo;administration et du terrain. Le jury a appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 l\u2019approche socio-historique utilis\u00e9e dans ce m\u00e9moire, qui se concentre sur la vie associative des Portugais.e.s de France, ainsi que l&rsquo;analyse de Convergences 84 et la mobilisation des Portugais.es dans les d\u00e9bats contre le racisme et pour l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Ir\u00e8ne Coelho Gaspar a achev\u00e9 un master d\u2019histoire en juin 2023. Elle s&rsquo;est orient\u00e9e vers ce cursus \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un stage avec l\u2019association ATD-Quart Monde, une structure tourn\u00e9e vers la recherche action et la recherche participative. R\u00e9aliser un m\u00e9moire repr\u00e9sentait pour elle l\u2019occasion d\u2019en apprendre davantage sur l\u2019histoire de luttes li\u00e9es au f\u00e9minisme et aux droits des immigr\u00e9.es, deux engagements qu&rsquo;elle porte au quotidien. This prize, launched in 2023 for the first time, aims to reward the outstanding efforts of young researchers at the master\u2019s and PhD levels across all Sciences Po schools and departments, and raises the profile of rigorous and innovative research on issues related to international migration and\/or ethno-cultural diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MiDi was created in 2020 as a collective interdisciplinary initiative with the aim of strengthening interactions between researchers from different Sciences Po research centres around issues of international migration and ethno-cultural diversity. It brings together scientists from the Centre for International Studies (CERI), the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE), the Centre for Research on Social Inequalities (CRIS), the Law School, the Department of History, the Department of Economics, the Centre for Political Research at Sciences Po (CEVIPOF) and the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP). The research produced at Sciences Po on these issues covers a wide range of themes, such as asylum and migration flows, the right of asylum, borders, the integration of migrants, ethno-racial discrimination and inequalities in the European and global contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury, composed of <strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne LE BAIL<\/strong> (Sciences Po, CERI), <strong>Virginie GUIRAUDON<\/strong> (Sciences Po, CEE), <strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne THIOLLET<\/strong> (Sciences Po, CERI), <strong>Christophe POULY<\/strong> (Sciences Po Law School), and <strong>Mohamed ELSAYEH<\/strong> (Sciences Po Law School), was pleased with the number and quality of all applications. Retour sur la grammaire des attitudes adopt\u00e9e par des personnes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es dans le cadre d&rsquo;entretiens biographiques<\/em>.<\/strong> This article, published in the Bulletin of Sociological Methodology, is an article on method and reflexivity that addresses, among other issues, the question of positioning when one is on a <em>Convention industrielle de formation par la recherche (CIFRE)<\/em> contract, the question of the relationship to the respondent when one ambiguously represents the institution, but also sheds light on the relationship of refugees to institutions and the host society. The jury found the article highly stimulating, and likely to be of interest to academics and practitioners alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>After studying political science with a focus on the Arab world (DEA in 2003), Soazig Dollet worked on asylum applications at OFPRA in Paris, before joining the International Committee of the Red Cross and its field missions. In 2009, she became <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>H<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ead of the Middle East &amp; North Africa office of Reporters Without Borders, an organization she left at the end of 2014. Now a consultant, she conducts studies on Syrian refugees&rsquo; access to service information in Turkey and Lebanon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>In September 2019, she join<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ed<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics at Sciences Po Paris, as a <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>PhD candidate<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>. Under the supervision of Virginie Guiraudon, she has since been working to capture the experience &#8211; by beneficiaries of international protection &#8211; of the reception and integration schemes that target them. The jury appreciated the methodology used and the rigor of the writing style.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>No\u00e9mie Cassiau obtained a Bachelor\u2019s in Political Science from the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL), before enrolling in the Master\u2019s in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action at Sciences Po&rsquo;s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). Between her two years of master\u2019s, she took a gap year, half of which she spent doing legal support for victims of racism and racial discrimination with SOS Racisme. No\u00e9mie Cassiau spent the remaining six months volunteering with Human Rights Observers in Calais and Dunkirk to conduct her fieldwork for her master\u2019s thesis&nbsp;\u201cEveryday bordering near the territorial France-United Kingdom borderline\u201d. Now graduated, she returned to Calais, where she works with Human Rights Observers as administration and field manager. The jury appreciated the socio-historical approach used in this thesis, which focuses on the associative life of people of Portuguese ethnicity in France, as well as the analysis of Convergences 84 and the mobilization of those of Portuguese ethnicity in debates against racism and for equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Ir\u00e8ne Coelho Gaspar completed her Master&rsquo;s degree in History in June 2023. She decided to <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>complete this programme<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> following an internship with the ATD-Quart Monde<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>, an<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> association<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>focused on action and participatory research. Writing a<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> thesis<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> was an opportunity for her to learn more about the history of struggles linked to feminism and the rights of immigrants, two commitments she supports on a daily basis.
