Copyrights<\/span> : Sciences Po<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The pioneering medialab created a digital course offering in 2012 with the development of a program to train through controversy mapping (<a href=\"http:\/\/controverses.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forccast<\/a>) as part of an excellence initiative in innovative training.<br \/>\nThis program grew with the addition of courses and curriculums focused on digital issues, particularly the \u201cDigital culture\u201d course taught to all second-year students.<br \/>\nAt the masters level, several schools offer complete curriculums today: the masters in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/public\/en\/content\/digital-new-technology-and-public-policy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital, New Technology and Public Policy<\/a> at the School of Public Affairs, the\u00a0masters in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/ecole-management-innovation\/en\/education\/innovation-digital-transformation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Innovation and Digital Transformation<\/a> within the School of Management and Innovation, and the \u201cDigital technology and development\u201d track at the School of Journalism. In addition to these curriculums, elective courses are offered, such as \u201cGovernance of the digital transformation\u201d and \u201cAspects and challenges of the digital economy\u201d; not to mention courses that do not focus on digital technology but examine its practices and issues in their respective disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>Innovative projects such as<a href=\"https:\/\/criminocorpus.org\/fr\/visites\/au-tribunal\/\"> the virtual museum of justice (fr)<\/a>\u00a0 are also produced in collaboration with students, teachers, researchers, and professionals in law and justice. Other offerings include pedagogical formats that grant an important role to digital technology opportunities supported by the<a href=\"https:\/\/dochub.com\/helenenaudet\/BNWMbP\/rapport-annuel-2017-2018-du-centre-dexp%C3%A9rimentation-num%C3%A9rique-de-sciences-po\"> Center for digital experimentation (fr)<\/a>: e-courses, digital practice workshops, reverse classes, Small Private Online Courses (SPOC), and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) \u2013 eight have been offered to date. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/cartographie\/\">Mapping Workshop (fr)<\/a> contributes its wealth of resources and tools to these initiatives. Meanwhile, Executive Education offers digital courses like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/executive-education\/digital\">Digital and organizational transformation (fr)<\/a> cycle.<\/p>\n<h3>New chairs<\/h3>\n<p>The links between research and teaching are also central to new chairs: :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Launched in March 2017, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/ecole-urbaine\/en\/cities-digital-technology-chair.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cities and digital technology chair<\/a> organizes research and teaching within the Urban School, in partnership with the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics. Devoted to the transformation of cities under the digital revolution, this chair seeks to develop teaching and research on these issues by associating leading businesses and organizations with the Urban School of Sciences Po, its students, its researchers, and its partners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Inaugurated in February 2018 by the School of Public Affairs, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencespo.fr\/public\/chaire-numerique\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital technology, governance, and institutional innovation<\/a> chair mobilizes all of Sciences Po\u2019s research units.
