Michel Rocard between the media and public opinion (1965-1995)\u201d<i>.<\/i><br \/>\nThe approach sheds lights on many moments and aspects of Michel Rocard\u2019s political trajectory, from his initial popularity to his gradual retreat. More broadly, this analysis shows the importance of the relationships between political life and the media and seeks to explain its transformations.<br \/>\nThis research received the 2017 research award from Ina TH\u00c8QUE, a recognition on top of the three awards \u2013 the Jean Jaur\u00e8s Foundation award, the Ina TH\u00c8QUE recognition award, and the Fran\u00e7ois Mitterrand Institute recognition award \u2013 that Pierre-Emmanuel had received for his book \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inatheque.fr\/publications-evenements\/publications-2012\/le-chantre-de-l-opinion-michel-rocard.html\"><i>Le chantre de l&#8217;opinion &#8211; La communication de Michel Rocard de 1974 \u00e0 1981\u201d<\/i><\/a> [The cantor of opinion \u2013 The communication of Michel Rocard from 1974 to 1981], derived from his Masters thesis.<br \/>\nPresentation by the author (choose subtitles in english)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g6bNMqCRRyU\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nPierre-Emmanuel Guigo is currently a lecturer at the University of Paris-Est Cr\u00e9teil (UPEC) and a member of the Center for research in comparative European history.
