In September and October 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed, during his visit to Central Asia and to ASEAN, strategic initiatives "Construction the economic zone of the Silk Road" and "Route of the maritime silk 21st century" and suggested to strengthen communication policies, road connections, trade flows, circulation of currencies and the relationship between peoples. The conference will treat the new Silk Road for cooperation and development.
Mr. Ludovic Nanxing LIU is visiting scholar in Sciences Po. He was born in 1982 in Beijing. He received a bachelor degree in international economy and trade in China and a master degree in international trade management in France. Mr. LIU served for Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China and some Chinese consulting companies from 2007 to 2008. He has taken charge of international cooperative affairs for Training Center of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of P. R. C and Office of Leading Group for International Intellectual Resource Exchange of NDRC as program officer since 2009.
