Our mission is to educate a new generation of leaders who want to address humanity’s most pressing challenges and find innovative and concrete solutions with an impact factor on the world for the Common Good. You will be trained in a multidisciplinary perspective to bridge the gap between theory and practice, decision and action with the best academics and global leaders, and innovative pedagogy based on case studies and policy labs.

You will create your own bright future, with an access to a large variety of careers worldwide, at the intersection of the public sector, private sector, and non-profit organizations at the local, national, European and international levels.

Two-Year Master's Degrees

The School of Public Affairs offers two Master’s degrees covering all areas of public affairs. 11 policy streams are offered within each Master's degree.

The Master in Public Policy

The Master's degree in Public Policy is internationally renowned. Students are trained to be able to engineer solutions to major contemporary challenges for the common good. Educational innovation is at the heart of this master’s degree, which offers interdisciplinary training in the humanities and social sciences with some of the finest teachers from both the academic and professional worlds.

The Master in European Affairs

The programme aims to produces young professionals who will take charge of public policy design and implementation in the governance of large cities in the future. Graduates learn to deal with the most challenging issues of urbanisation: water, electricity, mobility infrastructures, health and social services, etc.

11 policy streams to enhance students’ employability

Students have the choice of 11 different policy streams, allowing them to broaden their skills and knowledge in their chosen field of expertise. This flexibility means that students can progressively tailor their studies to their own career aspirations as these emerge. Dual Degrees

The School of Public Affairs partners with several internationally renowned universities and prestigious French Grandes écoles to offer 22 dual Master’s degrees. All combine a multidisciplinary approach with a multicultural experience to offer students the best of two programmes.

Dual Master’s in Public Policy

The school offers 12 dual Master’s in Public Policy in conjunction with Columbia University (New York, USA), HEC Paris, London School of Economics (London, United Kingdom), University of Tokyo (Japan), Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), and more.

The school offers nine dual Master’s in European Affairs in conjunction with Fudan University (Shanghai, China), Freie Universität (Berlin, Germany), AgroParisTech (Paris, France), University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), and more.

The Master in Public Affairs

From the start of the 2024 academic year, the Master in Public Affairs will no longer be offered within the School of Public Affairs.

The Master in Public Affairs is designed for students wishing to develop their policy-making expertise in the public, private and non-profit sectors and international organisations. Taught entirely in English, the course equips its graduates with advanced skills in management, communication and leadership.

The Competitive Exam Preparation

This one-year programme prepares candidates for 14 French competitive administrative examinations (Ecole Nationale d’Administration, Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires Étrangères, etc.) and for the European Personnel Selection Office’s competitive civil service exams (European Parliament, European Council, European Commission, European Court of Justice etc.).
