As co-chair of the Partnership for an Open Government, France will host the World Summit on December 2,3 and 4, in Paris.
3000 representatives from more than 80 countries are expected to attend the Summit: Heads of State and Government, ministers, public servants, parliamentarians, local elected representatives and local and regional authorities, representatives of civil society and hundreds of international organizations, businesses and digital innovators, civic tech communities, developers, researchers, journalists, will be gathered in one place to share their visions, experiences and best practices, and to move the agenda of open government to the world’s most pressing challenges.
30 students of the School of Public Affairs, passionate about international relations, democratic innovation, open data and open-gov policies, volunteered to ensure the Summit’ success and to meet a large number of international actors. A partnership between Etalab and Sciences Po was established for the occasion.
The missions entrusted to the students during these three days are the following:
- Ensure contact between stakeholders, the technical team and the Etalab team;
- Facilitate the sessions where they will be present;
- Supplement the Etalab team in order to facilitate attendee flows in accreditation areas and breaks between sessions.
The School of Public Affairs wishes them a wonderful event and thanks them for their involvement.
