EPSO competition

The CPCE scheduling follows the calendar of examinations published by EPSO (PDF, 128 Ko) and prepares students aiming to become permanent officials for the Administrator-level examination.

Competition steps

The European examination include four phases:

  1. Registration: (creation of a personal account on the EPSO website and completion of the application file);
  2. Selection: written tests
  3. Recruitment: admission to the reserve list and then interviews with the institutions

Language qualifications

EPSO requires proficiency in at least two European Union languages. The competition instructions specify the language regimes allowed for the different tests.

The examination

The general competition includes the following tests:

  • MCQs assessing verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning skills (RVNA)
  • A test of knowledge of the European Union (EU knowledge)
  • A written test consisting of a case study (Case study)
  • Possibly a test of digital skills (Digital skills)
