World Energy Outlook 2018

Wednesday 21 November 2018, 5 pm-7pm
Amphiteater Jacques Chapsal - 27 Rue Saint Guillaume, 75007 Paris

A conference introduced by Enrico Letta, Dean of Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs, and a panel discussion with:
Tim Gould, Head of the Energy Supply Division, International Energy Agency, presenting the WEO 2018
Marc-Antoine Eyl-Mazzega, Director, Center for Energy, IFRI
Giacomo Luciani, Scientific Advisor of the Master in International Energy, Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs.

The annual World Energy Outlook (WEO) is the International Energy Agency’s flagship publication, used as a reference by both governments and the energy industry.

The 2018 report will include a focus on electricity. What will tomorrow’s power sector look like? How will it incentivise investment and ensure reliable supply, and what share of our total energy needs can ultimately be met by electricity?

This event is coorganised by PSIA and the French Institute for International relations (IFRI).
