Tatiana Mitrova, faculty member at PSIA and fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, will discuss the perspectives of energy relations between Russia and Europe in the current context of the war in Ukraine.

Tatiana Mitrova, Fellow, Center on Global Energy Policy, Columbia University; PSIA Faculty member

Dr. Tatiana Mitrova is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy, SIPA, Columbia University, and a Visiting Professor at PSIA-Sciences Po. She has twenty years of experience in dealing with Russian and global energy markets, including production, transportation, demand, energy policy, pricing and market restructuring. She served as the Director of the SKOLKOVO Energy Centre in Moscow from 2012 through February 2022. From 2011-2012 she was Head of Global Energy at the SKOLKOVO Energy Centre, responsible for analysis of the global energy market and the Russian Federation's energy export and import policy. From 2006-2011 she was Head of the Center for International Energy Markets Studies in ERI RAS. Dr. Mitrova is a graduate of Moscow State University's Economies Department. She has more than 120 publications in scientific and business journals and four books. She is a member of Schlumberger's Board of Directors. Tatiana is also an independent director on the board of Novatek.

Giacomo Luciani is the Scientific Advisor of the Master in International Energy, PSIA, Sciences Po, Paris; he is also Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. In February 2015 he launched a MOOC on “Politics and Economics of International Energy”, initially on the FUN platform, then from May 2016 on Coursera.
