Leila Benali is an international expert in energy, strategies, investments and international relations. She contributed, among others, to drafting the Iraqi hydrocarbons law, to creating a gas company in a double-digit growing economy, to the national economic strategy in post-sanctions Libya, to the G20 response to the 2008 crisis, in addition to multiple commercial transactions and major projects.
She was director for the Middle East and Africa at IHS, lecturer in the Master in International Energy at PSIA, Sciences Po, and industrial engineer at Schlumberger. From December, she will be the chief economist and head of energy research in APICORP, a multilateral Bank.
