YLS Student Team

PSIA is calling on students to support and take part in the fourth edition of the Youth & Leaders Summit, to be held at Sciences Po on Monday 21 January 2019.

Over 40 students will be recruited to work under four positions: greeter, special guests escort, editorial assistant, event assistant.

• Greeters

Description: Greeters will be participating on the day of the event, hand in hand with PSIA’s Event team. They will be ensuring that all external guests are welcomed and guided through Sciences Po throughout the day, that students are registered and checked in, that the panels start on time and that the overall impression of the day is one of fluidity. They will also support the Event team in the amphitheater and in the green room for a smooth organization.

Availability: Presence in Paris is required four days before the event to attend the briefing session on January 17. On the day of the event, the group of greeters will be organized in two teams, working one of two shifts (morning/afternoon).

Contract: Please note that these will be paid student jobs, with a work contract as per Sciences Po rules (“contrat de vacation”). Up to 24 positions will be made available (12 in the morning and 12 in the afternoon) for a 7-hour contract.

Application process: Please apply via your online student space in the “Student Services” section, then “On campus jobs” by Thursday 11 October, at 23:59 Paris time. Interviews with shortlisted candidates may be held as necessary on October 16 and 17.
