Arnold Schwarzenegger is the former Governor of California and the founding chairman of the USC Schwarzenegger Institute. Under his leadership, California has been at the forefront in the United States in addressing climate change and pushing for the development of renewable energies.
Continuing his commitment to environmental leadership, in 2011 he also co-founded R20, a global non-profit of sub-national governments and regional leaders working together to address climate change and build a green economy.
