The place(s) I call home

Accra and Bolgatanga in Ghana, Washington DC and New York in the United States and now Paris, France.

Prior to PSIA I was

I trained and worked at Columbia University in New York where I received my Master’s in Public Health. After graduation I worked as Health Program Manager in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Region of Ghana. I also founded a program called Reading Stars! – a literacy program for elementary school children in Bolgatanga. I also worked as Policy Analyst and Personal Assistant to the Executive Director at ISODEC, a social justice Non-profit organization in Ghana.

My life at PSIA

Two years after my Masters Public Health degree, I was interested in development program that encompasses other dimensions of development as well. The six months field work also interested me as I want to challenge myself by working in Francophone speaking country in Africa.

My objectives

Drive the movement for strengthened health care and Public Health care system in sub-Saharan Africa. Global Health, Health education and promotion, Gender studies, Social intervention policies and women and children affaires

My best tips

To plan ahead and remember that each course helps strengten the definition of you career goal.
