As we celebrate ten years since the Paris Agreement and look forward to COP30 in Belém, the dialogue on climate action is evolving, particularly at the intersection of technology and sustainability. AI has the potential to revolutionize sustainability efforts by enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing resource use, and driving innovative climate solutions. However, these advancements come with significant risks. Our conversation will address not only the environmental implications of AI – such as the carbon footprint of data centers, energy consumption and water use – but also the broader social  and ethical impacts.
We will feature Sustainability experts from the Natixis Investment Managers group, who will share insights on how asset managers assess these issues and can engage with corporates to address these multidimensional challenges. Additionally, the co-founder of  Kayro.IA, an IA startup, will bring valuable real-world experience, illustrating how emerging technologies can be aligned with sustainability goals.
