You can donate to Sciences Po (fr) regardless of your country of residence. There are various organisations attached to Sciences Po that are able to receive the donations and many countries have tax exemption schemes.

When you support Sciences Po, you can choose to earmark your funds for the benefit of students, research or estate development. Or you can let Sciences Po decide how to allocate your donation according to our projects’ funding needs. Here are a few examples of what your donations can fund:

  • € 15,000 fund the incubation programme for one startup
  • € 10,000 fund a researcher's international mobility for one year
  • € 7,500 fund a grant for maintenance costs for one year
  • € 5,200 fund a notetaker for a student with a disability for one year
  • € 3,000 fund the Premier campus support programme for a high-school student for one year
  • € 1,500 fund training for a refugee student for one year

The Sciences Po Alumni UK Charity Trust is registered with the Charity Commission under reference 1128839.

Thanks to your support, the Trust can fund scholarships for Sciences Po students in France and in the UK, or any other charity causes of Sciences Po, as decided by the Trustees. Together we can really make a difference.

The Sciences Po Alumni UK Charity Trust benefits from the Gift Aid Scheme. Gift Aid is a UK government tax scheme, which enables the Trust to reclaim on donations received from UK taxpayers. Higher tax payers can claim tax back on their donation (the amount claimable is the difference between the higher and basic rates of income tax). The Sciences Po Alumni UK Charity Trust is registered with the Charity Commission under reference 1128839 and with HMRC under number XT9406.

Samuel receives an international mobility grant to complete his post-doctoral research at Oxford University. In order to make a decisive contribution to the analysis and understanding of the contemporary world and to enrich the content of its degree programmes, Sciences Po offers its researchers financial support to develop their research projects and facilitate their international mobility.

"Thanks to the OxPo programme, I got funding for a one-year post-doc at Oxford University. As I want to pursue an academic career, this is a major opportunity to promote European scientific collaboration—despite Brexit!"

Make a Gift from the US

The US Sciences Po Foundation is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization, founded in 2009. Gifts made to the Foundation are deductible for federal income, gift, and estate tax purposes. If you have any questions about what to give or ways to give, please email us at gifts@usscpo.org.

Its mission is to promote Sciences Po’s reputation in the United States, to foster the development of academic projects with US partner universities and to encourage transatlantic student and faculty mobility. The US Sciences Po Foundation offers scholarships every year for students with limited financial means, allowing them to pursue their studies on either side of the Atlantic, and a merit-based scholarship, the Michel David-Weill Fellowship.
