Project description :

The CIVIC ACT 2 research project questions the relationship between socio-environmental inequalities and mobilization in the metropolitan territories of the Greater Paris area in the perspective of a fair transition, which combines social justice and environmental justice. We propose for CIVIC ACT 2 to extend CIVIC ACT 1 and to focus on the representations and practices of the actors of the territory, public actors, civil society actors, in the perspective of a socio-ecological transition integrating justice issues. Qualitative and quantitative studies will be associated at the scale of a communal territory to understand the relationships between socio-environmental inequalities, environmental mobilization and justice issues and their links with environmental public policies. This work will be developed on an infra-communal scale, focusing on three communes in the Greater Paris area. Qualitative and quantitative studies will be associated in an interdisciplinary manner (political science, geography, mathematics, statistics, socio-economics).
