Congratulations to our alumni on a series of Albert Londres awards

Margaux Benn, a graduate of the Sciences Po School of Journalism, won the Albert Londres Award for her reporting in Ukraine, published as a series of articles of written journalism in French daily Le Figaro. Ever since she was studying journalism at Sciences Po, Margaux had a clear goal in her mind: to be on the ground, where it happens, even in conflict zones. "She is not afraid of much, except of not being there when necessary", confirms Alison Sargent, classmate, quoted in her profile in Le Figaro (FR). Margaux Benn gave a speech at Sciences Po about her work during the New Practices of Journalism (NPDJ) conference last year (FR).

"Not so long ago, Margaux Benn was a journalism student, and now, she is rewarded with the Albert London Award for her generous, courageous and sensitive work. It's magnificent!", says Alfred de Montesquiou, one of her teachers at Sciences Po Journalism School and part of the jury.

Ksénia Bolchakova, also a graduate of the Sciences Po School of Journalism, won the Albert Londres Award in the audiovisual category for her work behind the camera alongside Alexandra Jousset for their documentary "Wagner, Poutine's shadow army", broadcast on France 5. Ksénia Bolchavoka was our guest in September 2022 at Sciences Po for a debate about information and war in Ukraine. Her colleague Alexandra Jousset had also come to Sciences Po School of Journalism to present the award-winning documentary to our students as part of a master class (FR).

Finally, Victor Castanet, a professor at the Sciences Po School of Journalism's cycle of investigative journalism workshops, won the Albert Londres Award for his book "Les Fossoyeurs" (ed. Fayard). He too met with our students recently, as part of a master class, to talk about about his work.

The Albert Londres Award is the most prestigious in French-language journalism. Every year since 1933, it has spotlighted and rewarded the productions of journalists doing outstanding work.
