Anatole Le Bras conducts research at the crossroads of social history and the history of psychiatry in the 19th and 20th centuries. The book resulting from his thesis will be published at the beginning of 2024 under the title Aliénés. Une histoire sociale de la folie au XIXe siècle (CNRS Éditions).
He joined the Center for History and Economics in Paris (CHEP) in September 2023 as a post-doctoral researcher to open a new research project devoted to the links between environment and mental health in contemporary times.
