Résumé:

Qu’est-ce que la grande stratégie ? Trois idées préconçues peuvent d’ores et déjà être battues en brèche : elle n’est pas l’affaire exclusive des grandes puissances ; elle est possible dans un système international complexe ; elle ne s’oppose pas à une approche pragmatique de la politique extérieure. Mais comment déceler l’existence d’une grande stratégie dans l’histoire ? Et quel est son rapport au temps ?
