On Monday, 24 January 2022, students and teachers at the Paris campus were finally able to cross the threshold of 1 Saint-Thomas—a long-term project whose initial discovery proved worthy of everyone's expectations!

What's on campus?

Ten classrooms, a computer lab, and an art studio are all dedicated to teaching. Each and every student is likely to have classes on this new campus, regardless of their course of study.

One of the ambitions of this new location is to offer a wide variety of workspaces. Indeed, in addition to the workspaces for students, there are 10 project rooms, 50 workstations for entrepreneurs, and 140 workstations for doctoral students in the heart of the research centers. Researchers also benefit from two seminar rooms, a faculty lounge, and five meeting rooms shared with the research community. Three auditoriums are available for thesis defenses and events.

A 170-seat general library and a 50-seat research library make 32,000 books available to students. Students can visit the library during regular class hours from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Two rooms for those with disabilities have been provided.

A 147-seat cafeteria encourages discussion between students, who benefit from an additional 70 seats on the first floor of the Innovation Pavilion. The two upper floors of this new building house the Center for Entrepreneurship and the McCourt Institute's projects.

Who's moving to 1 Saint-Thomas?

The Centre for History, the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies, the Research Department, the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations, the médialab, the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics, the Center for Socio-Political Data, the Cevipof, the Observatoire sociologique du changement, the Institut des compétences et de l'innovation as well as the Centre pour l'entrepreneuriat and MaxPo are already on site.

The Schools are not left out, as the School of Research and the School of Management and Innovation have already moved in. The School of Journalism will arrive in March and will enjoy professional pedagogical spaces.

1 Saint-Thomas can be accessed from Place Saint-Thomas d'Aquin and from 13 Université.

We're looking forward to seeing you at 1 Saint-Thomas and have a great time discovering it.
